Chelsea are reportedly prepared to launch a move to rope in AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan despite adding two shot-stoppers to their ranks ahead of the 2023-24 season. The Blues, who have dished out over £1 billion in the past three windows, decided to offload Eduoard Mendy to Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Ahli for around £16 million in the summer. Noni Madueke scores two powerful goals for England U21s in their 9-1 victory vs Serbia.

Image
Noni Madueke was on the score sheet for England U21s Last night.  Three Chelsea players started the match, including Cole Palmer, who captained the side and Noni Madueke, who grabbed two of the nine goals.  Bashir Humphreys, on loan at Swansea City, started at left back and played the full-90. Madueke played about an hour and Palmer a little over 50 minutes, evidently being forced off with “what looked like a dead leg”. So that’s not a huge concern (despite the presence of the word “dead”), but hopefully he gets to rest up the rest of the break then. Chelsea winger Noni Madueke was superb all game and he came up with two goals as well, with his first being absolutely beautiful – it was very Lionel Messi-like. You can WATCH that here: Video: Noni Madueke scores brace vs Serbia U-21s.

£100k-a-week Chelsea player will now be fit to start next PL game against Arsenal

Image
REPORT: The £100k-a-week Chelsea player will now be fit to start next PL game against Arsenal. Reports have claimed that Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk will now be fit to start the next Premier League game. According to Football London, the Ukraine international will be ready to face Arsenal after an injury concern saw him benched against Burnley last weekend.  Mudryk has been slowly establishing himself as a difficult member of the Chelsea side to drop as his performances have begun to improve at last. The player who has often looked so short of confidence, the relief could be seen lift off his shoulders when he finally found the net for the first time in Blue. He latched on to a Levi Colwill pass to fire Chelsea into the lead, on their way to just their second Premier League win of the season. Mudryk fit to start against Arsenal However, he was replaced at half-time of that game due to an injury, although it was claimed just after the game that there were hopes he would not be ou...

INCREDIBLE: Gur Reiten fires home beautiful equalizer to keep Chelsea Women unbeaten in the Women's Super League vs Manchester City.

Image
Manchester City put in a remarkable shift to almost beat WSL champions Chelsea with nine players but Guro Reiten's injury-time equaliser grabbed a 1-1 draw. Chloe Kelly's deflected strike put City ahead but their task become tougher when Alex Greenwood was controversially dismissed for picking up a second yellow card for timewasting just before half-time. City's rearguard stood firm but were given another blow when Lauren Hemp was also given her marching orders for a second yellow card - one of 12 yellow cards shown by referee Emily Healsip.   Chelsea did finally create some sustained pressure in injury-time and with City down to eight players - as Alanna Kennedy was off the pitch injured - Guro Reiten scrambled home a late equaliser. And what a goal it was.  WATCH: Guro Reiten scores beautiful equalizer vs Manchester City: Guro Reiten scores incredible goal vs Manchester City Women. Magical display and goal from Nicolas Jackson that shows he's Chelsea's next Didier Drogba.

Image
Nicolas Jackson was on target for the Blues in their 4-1 trashing of Burnley yesterday.  Raheem Sterling takes the ball from midfield and turns around on his marker to leave him biting dust. Once in the final third he finds Cole Palmer in the box, who calmly lays it to Nicolas Jackson right in front of goal. The striker does very well in controlling the ball, adjusting his footing, and striking it for Chelsea’s fourth goal against Burnley. Comparisons have been made with Nicolas Jackson's stats for the Blues and that of Legend, Didier Drogba. Jackson's first goal for the club was a Drogba-esque one.  However, this performance and display from Jackson vs Burnley will convince you that he's just Chelsea's next hit striker after Didier Drogba: VIDEO: Chelsea may have just found their next Didier Drogba in Nicolas Jackson.

Image
Chelsea are planning to hold talks with the Chelsea star over extending his contract in the near-future, according to reports. Premier League giants Chelsea will try to renew the contract of a key homegrown midfielder. The club are planning talks with Conor Gallagher about a new deal to ensure his future remains at Stamford Bridge. Gallagher was one of many names linked with an exit from the club in the summer, even as the window was nearing its conclusion. However, he has remained and impressed boss Mauricio Pochettino, who sees a use for him. Per The Daily Mail, he will now hold talks with the Blues as he gets into the final 18 months of his existing deal. Gallagher, who is only 23, wants to remain at the club where he came through the academy.

Two Chelsea players that will benefit from Ben Chilwell's injury.

The two Chelsea players that will benefit from Ben Chilwell's injury.  Ben Chilwell’s injury woes at Chelsea have continued with news that he is expected to miss the next two months of action through a hamstring problem. The England international, who was named Chelsea vice-captain this summer, could return in December, according to reports, but that is not yet guaranteed.  Mauricio Pochettino vows... It is the third successive season in which Chilwell has suffered a major injury at Stamford Bridge - this is becoming a major problem for the Blues.  Furthermore, his past three injuries have all been hamstring problems and have all happened since November 2022. The ACL injury that ruled him out for 45 games during the 2021-22 campaign has not repeated itself and was a freak one-time thing, but Chilwell’s repeated hamstring injuries are a concern. He’s not the only Blues star with injury problems either though; in fact it’s been a major issue at Stamford Bridge for some time...

Chelsea finally found the net as they won 2-0 at neighbours Fulham in the Premier League on Monday with Mykhailo Mudryk scoring his first goal for the Blues and Armando Broja also on target as he celebrated his full return from injury. Mauricio Pochettino's hugely expensive side had failed to score in each of their previous three league games and had notched up only five goals in six league matches this season before their visit to Craven Cottage. But in the space of two first-half minutes they seized control of the West London derby. In the 18th minute, Ukraine winger Mudryk chested down a cross from Levi Colwill and slotted the ball past Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno before poor defending by the hosts allowed Broja to double the lead a minute later.
