Image
5 of the biggest mistakes made by Chelsea during the summer clear out we hope will not haunt them and n future.  Chelsea have begun a massive clear-out of their 2021 Champions League winning squad. A process that has seen the likes of Joao Felix, Edouard Mendy, Mason Mount, N'Golo Kanté, Mateo Kovacic and Kai Havertz leave the club. While the Blues have realized a whooping £208.8M in player sales, pundit Michael Owen and Rio Ferdinand both believe Chelsea have made some mistakes on their part with selling some players.  Owen has discussed on Twitter some of the early business from Chelsea this summer. The pundit is pleased to see the Blues sell players from an oversized group, but suggests a potential error in doing business with the likes of Arsenal and Man City. He’s mentioned links between Chelsea and Manchester United as well, which we assume refers to the Mason Mount saga. The Guardian has claimed that Chelsea are keen to find a resolution to sell Mount to United. O...

Per GOAL, Bayern Munich are reportedly set to swoop for Mason Mount, after Manchester United's decision to end their pursuit of the Chelsea midfielder. If Manchester United do indeed pull out of the race to sign Mount, they are set to focus all of their efforts on Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo, who is apparently high on Erik ten Hag's wish-list. It remains to be seen if the midfielder pushes to stay in the Premier League or move abroad and join the reigning Bundesliga champions.  Mason Mount's current Chelsea contract expires in 2024, and he is not keen on an extension. Should both parties fail to strike a deal for the midfielder this summer, the Bundesliga side will be keen on re-visiting ...

The starlet is a Brazilian but one full of so many talent.  Quite unfamiliar to the Chelsea fanbase, Angelo Gabriel is a talented forward and a super b dribbler. His signing is an exciting one as he is a pure talent.  The 18-year-old already has more than 100 senior appearances under his belt and could become the latest South American youngster heading to Stamford Bridge after Kendry Paez and Andrey Santos. But who is Angelo and how good is he? What position does Angelo play in? A pacy, left-footed dribbler, Angelo has mostly been utilised in a wide-forward role, preferring to play on the right wing. How good is Angelo? The young Brazilian has been part of Santos' senior set-up since early 2021, making his debut for Neymar's former club as a 15-year-old and beating Pele's record as the club's second-youngest debutant by 11 days in the process. Image
As per Spanish outlet SPORT (via  Football.London), Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has convinced the club to try and sign Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde this summer window. The report reveals that an offer of around £85m would be made to sign the Uruguay international who has been an integral part of Madrid’s success in the recent past. It is also believed that Los Blancos see Valverde as untouchable and won’t entertain any offers for him. It remains to be seen if Pochettino can conjure some magic and attract the player’s interest towards working with him. Valverde is a versatile player who although can play the box-to-box midfield role very well, can do well as a winger too. In last year’s Champions League Final, the 24-year-old started on the right wing and assisted the match-winning goal for Vinicius Jr. The Uruguayan is a manager’s dream not just because of his flexibility, but his ability to carry out tactical instructions on the field is second to none...
