Our development squad were back in PL2 action on Monday Evening and we're looking to seal their spot in second place as the contention for the title continues. The game featured Arsenal's Emile Smith Rowe, and was an important one for the Gunners.  Gabriel Slonina, the Blues' latest goalkeeping signing was in goal for the U21s and kept a cleansheet. It's his third in a row for all games he's featured for the development squad.  A late goal in the 85th minute from Leo Castledine saw our young Blues secure all three points against a tough Arsenal side which saw them move second place in the League.   Chelsea fans sign petition to sack Graham Potter.  Following the Blues' defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, thousands of angry Chelsea fans have signed the petition to axe current coach, Graham Potter.  The petition which has gained thousands of signatures is the only way Chelsea fans can vent their frustrations to the current Boehly-Behdad led ownership as they are willing to stick with Potter per multiple reports. Speaking to The Times, he revealed his ambitions to play in the Premier League, especially alongside Nkunku.  Gvardiol himself confirmed that Chelsea had a massive interest in him during last summer’s transfer window, but Leipzig did not want to sell him at the time. Nkunku, his teammate at the moment, is set to join the Blues at the end of this season.  21-year-old Gvardiol was one of the best defenders in the 2022 World Cup, which would have elevated his value in the football market. World class Manager sends message to Todd Boehly amid Graham Potter sack situation.  Former Real Madrid Manager Zinedine Zidane has confirmed he's ready to take up a coaching job anytime soon.  This comes after the former Real Madrid man was named on a  four-man list as one of the potential managers to replace Potter at Chelsea. "Going back to coaching is my goal," Zizou told Le Figaro. "Today I have free time but I don't know how long it will last. I have until June perhaps, but it could happen very quickly that I will return to bench." Zidane added. PSG, where Christophe Galtier, and former club Juventus are currently being linked with the the Frenchman. With Chelsea needing a world class Manager who could turn things around at the club, Zidane could just be the man for the job. 

Lauren James scored her first England goal in their 4 nil victory over South Korea on Thursday night.  Although the scoreline may seem like a walkover win for England, it was nothing of the sort as the Lionesses fought hard to seal the victory.  Crucial to their victory was Chelsea's Lauren James who did not only score in the 78th minute, but also assisted. She caught the eye all night with her incredible close control, wonderful balance and mesmerising ability to just dance past defenders. The Chelsea star is an almost impossible problem for any defence and she proved that again in this superb individual performance.  The Chelsea star is rumored to be back for the Blues' second leg tie at the Bridge against Dortmund.  Per multiple reports, N'Golo Kanté could return in time for the Blues' second leg tie with Dortmund in the round of 16.  Chelsea have been without Kanté since last year following an injury against Tottenham that had left him out of play for months. Per football.london Chelsea have some hope of Kante returning to team training by the end of the week, or the start of the following week. However, there will be no rush to return him to action too soon.  Meanwhile, Chelsea will be without Mason Mount after the midfielder picked up a yellow card. The Blues play their return leg at the Bridge on 7th March and will be hoping to turn things around to seal their place in the competition.

  The Blues could sign the Serie A star after failing to land him in the just concluded January transfer window. Per reports, Chelsea will look to sign Denzel Dumfries from Inter Milan as Reece James' backup.  According to recent reports on Gazetta dello sport his agent was in London to complete a possible move to the Premier League and Chelsea.  However – a deal did not materialise and he stayed put – but reports have claimed that Chelsea will reignite their interest in the player at the end of the current season.
