Chelsea vs Bournemouth: All goals and extended highlights (HD English commentary)

 The Blues returned to Premier League action after a long world cup break. Although the Blues were without key players, Ziyech and Kovacic who stunned at the world cup, including N'Golo Kanté, the Blues managed to secure a 2-0 win against Bournemouth. Thanks to two first half goals from Havertz and Mason Mount.  The first goal came in the 16th minute following an assist from Sterling to find Havertz who opened the scoring. Mount found the back of the next moments later in the 23rd minute with an assist from Havertz. What beautiful goals they both were! Chelsea determined to sign 22-year old goalkeeper dubbed the next 'Petr Cech.'

 Chelsea are in the race for another goalkeeper following the uncertain futures of Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga.  Per reports, Chelsea are determined to sign Leeds united goalkeeper, Ilian Meslier.  It's long been reported that the Blues are on a hunt for a long-term goalkeeper. Jordan Pickford had been number one on Chelsea's priority targets but fresh reports have claimed that the Blues are hot on the heels in pursuit for Leeds United's Meslier.  Edouard Mendy who had been Chelsea's number one before an injury-run and poor form saw him dropped for Kepa Arrizabalaga is a long-term doubt and per reports, is considering an exit from the club in January.  • Eden Hazard announces retirement from professional football.  • Reece James is a huge fan of Hazard; reacts to news of retirement.  Eden Hazard shockingly revealed his decision to retire from international football on Tuesday afternoon following Belgium's exit from the world cup in devastating style.  The former Chelsea star had captained  the Belgian Devil's in all three games they played in the group stage of the competition, but unfortunately crashed out, finishing third in the group.  Following their performance in the world cup, Eden Hazard has announced his decision to quit playing for the Belgian National team. Real Madrid table official bid for £180,000-per-week Chelsea defender.

 Real Madrid have made the £180,000-per-week star their primary target for next summer.  Real Madrid have made Chelsea defender, Cesar Azpilicueta their primary target ahead of the January transfer window.  Last summer, Cesar Azpilicueta was tipped to join Barcelona but made a last minute U-turn and extended his deal with the Blues for a further two years.  The Chelsea captain since then featured ten times as a starter, while coming on as a substitute for seven times. He however, may not be guaranteed a regular start following Reece James' return from injury.  According to Fichajes, Azpilicueta could be provided with the chance to sign for Real Madrid ahead of 2023-24. While the report hints that is the most likely approach for Real, it is claimed that they may be prepared to part with €10m (£8.61m) in January to secure his services.  Chelsea defender, Thiago Silva was back in action on Monday night as he captained the Brazil National team to an emphatic 4—1 victory and a win over South Korea.  The 38-year old was also on the score sheet, providing a well-crafted assist for one of the best goals in the world cup so far.  At 38 years and 74 days old, he becomes the OLDEST PLAYER in history to deliver an assist in the World Cup! 👴  The goal assisted by Thiago Silva was a fine one, initiated and finished by Richarlison. Thiago Silva with his excellent reading of the game was quick to spot that the Tottenham striker had continued his run into the box.  Our U18s were back in PL2 action on Saturday afternoon against Aston Villa in an away tie.  The game which featured notable stars from the academy as Runham, Golding and George ended in a 3-1 victory for the Blues.  The Blues actually secured a comeback against Villa after they led by 1-0 at the break. The goals were from Golding, George and Dyer. At the end of the day, the Blues took all three points home after putting in a very decent performance.  WATCH ALL GOALS AND HIGHLIGHTS HERE:

Didier Drogba defends Chelsea flop, reveals why he should not be blamed for his country's exit from the World Cup.

 The Chelsea flop has come under mass criticism from both the Chelsea and Belgian fanbase for his contributions in making his home country not to progress to the Round of 16 of the world cup.  Didier Drogba has leapt to Romelu Lukaku's defense following his lacklustre performance against Croatia that led to his home country's exit from the FIFA World Cup.  Lukaku had missed several crucial chances that would have secured a spot in the last 16 for Belgium and had shouldered all of the blame. After the full time whistle was blown, he was seen in a flood of tears while being consoled by Assistant coach, Thierry Henry.  To fuel his disappointment, the Chelsea Loanee had reportedly broken a glass in the dugout.  It took Hakim Ziyech less than 5 minutes to score the opener for Morocco!  Morocco were back in World Cup action on Wednesday evening against Canada, a game that saw them progress to the World Cup knockout stage after a 2-1 victory.  A blunder in the first half from Canada's goalkeeper saw Hakim Ziyech open the scoring with a superb 30-yards shot.  The second goal came in the 23rd minute from Morocco's Youssef en Neysri after a fantastic ball from Achraf Hakimi.  To think that Ziyech had once retired from this Morocco team is mind-blowing as he has singlehandedly led his team to consecutive victories with masterclass displays.  Watch Hakim Ziyech's goal against Canada here:
