 Kalidou Koulibaly was the hero in Senegal's 2-1 victory over Ecuador, a game which saw them progress to the last 16 of the World Cup. The Chelsea defender scored the winner for Senegal to send them qualifying from group A. Ismailia Sarr opened the scoring for Senegal from a penalty. Moses Caicedo then pulled one back for Ecuador to make it level.  A free-kick played found Koulibaly on deflection, and the Chelsea defender sent a superb right footed shot past the Ecuadorian goalkeeper to give Senegal a 2-1 lead!  Watch the goal here:

 Mikel Obi has warned Chelsea not to sign the highly-rated maestro, Cristiano Ronaldo.  It's no longer news that Cristiano Ronaldo is currently without a club after falling out with the Old Trafford hierarchy following a controversial interview with Piers Morgan. Edouard Mendy's recent form is a source of concern to Chelsea. Per Simon Philips, Chelsea are concerned about Edouard Mendy's recent performances and are already lining up a replacement for him in January, and per SportsKeeda, three names have been identified.  The Chelsea number 16 lost his place as the Blues' no.1 goalkeeper to Kepa Arrizabalaga and has not been the same since then. He has not kept a clean sheet, conceding five goals in two games the Blues played against Brighton and Arsenal respectively.  The last straw was his recent performance against Netherlands, where the 30 year old committed two howlers. Raheem Sterling is back to scoring ways!  Chelsea star, Raheem Sterling netted England's third goal in their opening World Cup fixture.  England kicked off their world cup campaign this afternoon with a lunch-time tie against Iran. Dortmund's Jude Bellingham opened the scoring in the 34th minute from an assist by Luke Shaw. Saka doubled the lead in the 43rd minute thanks to an assist from Maguire.  Raheem Sterling then scored the third for England in stoppage time to seal their half-time lead.  It's definitely great to see Sterling back on the score sheet after a goal-drought in some couple of games at Chelsea. The Chelsea winger has announced his return to country football with a bang!  Hakim Ziyech scored an outrageous goal from his own half against Georgia. Morocco were already one goal up, thanks to a goal from Youssef en Neysri. A careless pass from the opposition side saw the ball meet Ziyech in his own half. The winger tipped the ball with the most insane display with his left foot.  The ball found it's way straight into the goal post of Georgia's goalkeeper who looked stranded.  The Chelsea star is 'available' for exit with two clubs in hot pursuit for his signature. Per transfer insider, Dean Jones, Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech will be one of the main talking points in January. The 29-year-old has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge, and Jones thinks he will be one of the better players available in the winter window. Per 90 min last month, 90min reported that Chelsea will look to offload Ziyech when the transfer market reopens in the new year. Per the Sun, the leaked images of the third kit has left Chelsea fans 'furious'.  Footy Headlines on Tuesday released leaked images of Chelsea's third kit with "mint-green" as the chosen color. Per The Sun, the colour of the badge is not yet known, but it is expected to be white or dark navy. The bold look is a throwback to Chelsea's kits from the 1980s.
