Per transfer insider, Dean Jones, Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech will be one of the main talking points in January.

The 29-year-old has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge, and Jones thinks he will be one of the better players available in the winter window.

Per 90 min last month, 90min reported that Chelsea will look to offload Ziyech when the transfer market reopens in the new year.

The same report claimed that Ajax and AC Milan are two clubs in hot pursuit for the £100,000-a-week star. 

Ziyech joined Chelsea from Ajax in a deal worth around £33m back in 2020 (via Sky Sports), but things have not quite worked out for him.

He has barely played this season under Graham Potter, while last term, he made just 14 starts in the Premier League.

Despite his struggles at Chelsea, Jones has hinted that there will be interest in the Morocco international in January.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the journalist said: “I think Ziyech will be one of the talking points in the January transfer market because he’s definitely one of the better players that will be available.”

Ziyech is not a player you would think of as finished. When in consistent form, he is a threat to opponents, with his dangerous left-foot. 

Perhaps, a move away from Stamford Bridge will be enough to revive his career.

 Nicolas Jackson was on target for the Blues in their 4-1 trashing of Burnley yesterday.  Raheem Sterling takes the ball from midfield and turns around on his marker to leave him biting dust. Once in the final third he finds Cole Palmer in the box, who calmly lays it to Nicolas Jackson right in front of goal. The striker does very well in controlling the ball, adjusting his footing, and striking it for Chelsea’s fourth goal against Burnley.
