WATCH: Thiago Silva delivers beautiful assist for one of the best goals in the world cup against South Korea.

Chelsea defender, Thiago Silva was back in action on Monday night as he captained the Brazil National team to an emphatic 4—1 victory and a win over South Korea.

The 38-year old was also on the score sheet, providing a well-crafted assist for one of the best goals in the world cup so far.

At 38 years and 74 days old, he becomes the OLDEST PLAYER in history to deliver an assist in the World Cup! 👴

The goal assisted by Thiago Silva was a fine one, initiated and finished by Richarlison. Thiago Silva with his excellent reading of the game was quick to spot that the Tottenham striker had continued his run into the box. Thiago Silva brilliantly found him with a perfectly-weighed pass, which gave Richarlison enough room to slide the ball into the back of the net.

The goal which was Brazil's third goal came in the 29th minute after a Vinicius opener, and Neymar Jr. Penalty.  Before halftime, Paqueta sealed Brazil's lead by 4 goals with a goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately in the second half, Brazil conceded a goal in the 76th minute but that was not enough to change the results.
