"Come back here!" — Atletico Madrid star tells Joao Felix; sends message ahead of next summer.

The Atletico Madrid star believes Joao Felix will return to the club at the end of his loan spell at Stamford Bridge.

Atletico Madrid star, Koke believes Joao Felix will return to the Spanish side at the end of the season.

Recall Joao Felix had left the La Liga outfit and had joined the Blues on a loan deal, set to expire at the end of the season. Memphis Depay had then been signed as Felix's replacement.

However, with talks of Chelsea wanting to sign Felix on a permanent deal, Koke is confident that Felix will return to Spain for the upcoming season. He explained to Mundo Deportivo:

“They made the decision to leave. Joao transferred, and Cunha transferred. They are decisions for each one. Totally respectable. Joao is picking up the rhythm of the games; he is gaining confidence for the coming season to come back here.”

Atletico Madrid are third in the table but were eliminated from the Champions League group stage, whereas Chelsea are tenth in the table and will play in the Champions League quarter-finals.

Felix found it tough to adapt to Diego Simeone’s system of play and wanted to get more playing time elsewhere. He is now thriving with the Blues, spicing up Chelsea's attack and with a goal already to his name. Should Chelsea extend his loan, they will have to agree to Madrid’s terms.
