 Chelsea are set to complete the signing of 18-year-old forward Angelo Gabriel per reliable media Journo Fabrizio Romano. The starlet is a Brazilian but one full of so many talent. 

Quite unfamiliar to the Chelsea fanbase, Angelo Gabriel is a talented forward and a super b dribbler. His signing is an exciting one as he is a pure talent. 

The 18-year-old already has more than 100 senior appearances under his belt and could become the latest South American youngster heading to Stamford Bridge after Kendry Paez and Andrey Santos.

But who is Angelo and how good is he?

What position does Angelo play in?

A pacy, left-footed dribbler, Angelo has mostly been utilised in a wide-forward role, preferring to play on the right wing.

How good is Angelo?

The young Brazilian has been part of Santos' senior set-up since early 2021, making his debut for Neymar's former club as a 15-year-old and beating Pele's record as the club's second-youngest debutant by 11 days in the process.

Since then, he has gone on to make more than 120 appearances for the club, but despite playing as an attacker, the 173 cm (5 ft 8 in) youngster has only scored five goals thus far.

Though clearly not the most prolific forward ever, Angelo is nevertheless an exciting talent because of his explosiveness and desire to take people on in the dribble. He's more of a creator than a goalscorer, playing mostly on the right wing, which allows him to cut inside onto his stronger left foot.

 Nicolas Jackson was on target for the Blues in their 4-1 trashing of Burnley yesterday.  Raheem Sterling takes the ball from midfield and turns around on his marker to leave him biting dust. Once in the final third he finds Cole Palmer in the box, who calmly lays it to Nicolas Jackson right in front of goal. The striker does very well in controlling the ball, adjusting his footing, and striking it for Chelsea’s fourth goal against Burnley. Comparisons have been made with Nicolas Jackson's stats for the Blues and that of Legend, Didier Drogba.
