"I want to move to Chelsea." — £200M Chelsea target open to Stamford Bridge move—Reports

Chelsea are quite keen’: Journalist claims Boehly wants £200m player, and he’s open to joining.
Chelsea are said to be “quite keen” on a deal to sign Neymar this summer, with the PSG No.10 open to joining the Blues.

That is according to Julien Laurens.

So, what did the French journalist say about Chelsea and Neymar in full? Let’s take a look…

Well, Laurens told Sky Sports that PSG are desperate to offload Neymar this summer, with the French giants described as not only opening the door to his departure, but the windows and everything else.

The 42-year-old said: “PSG have opened the door, well, not just the door, the windows, fridge doors, anything you want for him to go! They’re just waiting for someone to be interested.

“We know that there were talks about Manchester United, which were not really true. I think Chelsea are quite keen, it will depend what Pochettino says, of course. I think he (Neymar) would like the Premier League.

“He doesn’t really want to be there anymore (at PSG). Chelsea are still high on his list, and he’s quite high on theirs, but there’s still a lot more work to be done on this one.”

This rumour is certainly gaining some momentum.

It comes after ESPN Deportes described Chelsea as a likely destination for Neymar, who was signed by PSG from Barcelona in a world record £200m deal back in August 2017.

Pochettino could agree to have Neymar at Chelsea

As Laurens states, a move for Neymar will ultimately depend on what Pochettino thinks – which suggests the interest up until this stage is being led by Todd Boehly.

Nevertheless, we believe there is a strong chance that Pochettino gives this transfer the green light.

The Argentine worked with Neymar at PSG, where he described the Brazil international as a genius who is also “so easy” to coach.

Pochettino told the Guardian: “It’s so easy with Neymar because you don’t need to do too much. From day one, he’s been very open to work. He’s very humble, he listens and always accepts all the instructions in a very good way. Brazilian players have something special inside.”

On the basis of these comments, we certainly wouldn’t be surprised to see the South American duo reunite at Chelsea this summer.
